I need a (residential) awning to go above my front door. What are the different kinds of awnings and which one is the best for all kinds of weather? What are the prices?

I own a cafe in Chicago and I’m looking to add an awning to the facade along with some lighting. I need a good and affordable contractor.

I need to provide window shading. But want to budget. Thought an awning would be the best way. And will look better. Or any other ideas?
